Why a Consulate?

When God gave the call to start ICC, the name was important.  The call was to "Establish My Consulate for My people from the Middle East".

A consulate is an official representation of one state in the territory of another.  Part of its purpose is to protect the interests of its citizens while they are in a foreign land, and provides various help, services and sanctuary to them.

The Bible speaks of the 'Kingdom of God', of which Christians are citizens. It describes Christians as travellers in a foreign land: "in the world, but not of it".

It is God's mission and God's work.  We are committed to honour the calling He has given us.

“If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but you are not of the world, I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you."

(John 15:18-19)

Our Vision

Our vision is to see persecuted believers strengthened and connected by their shared faith; no longer isolated and alone - instead thriving, supported, united as a close-knit community, despite ongoing persecution and geographical separation.

Our Mission

  • Support persecuted Christians to rebuild their lives in places of refuge
  • Represent God’s Kingdom by advocating for and supporting its citizens in times of need.
  • Strengthen connections across the underground church in places of persecution
  • Advance the Kingdom of God through building strong disciples with unshakeable faith.
  • Remove isolation through real long-term community built on genuine agape love.

Statement of Faith

We believe:

The Bible is to be the divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy Word of God, and is the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

One God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Our Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His divine miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial work, and His Personal return in power and glory.

The Salvation of lost and sinful man through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith apart from works, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Unity of the Spirit of all true believers, the Church, the Body of Christ.

The Resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
